| Summary and
Impressions
of the Macrobiotic Community:
In the late
1980's, Mary Win started
macrobiotic teaching and counseling in Minneapolis-St Paul. The area now has counseling and cooking services, and a
plethora of resources, including seven food co-ops, the
most in any city in the United States. Like many other macrobiotic
communities it lacks structured
activities. Christine Stevens
and Gabrielle Kushi are very busy counseling individuals and cooking, but there are no
regular potluck or paid macrobiotic dinners. |
