Portland is the state's largest city and its major center of industry and trade.  It is on Oregon's northern border, near the junction of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. It is also an important West Coast port.  Its metropolitan area population is 1,515,500.

Portland is a one person macrobiotic service center in the form of Linda King, who began a macrobiotic education center in 1983.  She is wholly dedicated to macrobiotics, and devotes her life to serving the community, and sharing her knowledge with others.

Community Functions

Counsels, teaches, gives cooking lessons and all other macrobiotic services to the community.  She is dedicated to sharing macrobiotics with others.  Runs the Art of Placement Feng Shui School.

Levels I, II and III at the Kushi Institute. Spiritual seminar I; one year of Acupuncture school but doesn't practice.
